Stephanie Tyler has been a lifeguard, a bookstore manager, and a teacher for grades ranging from middle school to college while pursuing a PhD in English Literature, all while trying to convince herself that she would come back to her dream of writing as a career eventually. When her daughter was born in 2001 and encountered many medical problems, Stephanie found inspiration in the fighter her child proved to be - and found her own way back to writing.
Today, Stephanie writes what she loves to read – romance with military heroes and happy endings. She has long since given up trying to control her characters, especially the Navy SEAL alpha males, and she’s thrilled to be writing milrom for both Harlequin Blaze and Bantam Dell. Her debut Harlequin Blaze, Coming Undone, is an April 2007 release, followed in June by her second Blaze, Risking It All. Her Bantam Navy SEAL trilogy titles are scheduled for a 2008/9 release.
And, because she loves being busy, she also writes paranormal erotic romance with a military twist for Bantam Dell with co-author Larissa Ione under the pen-name Sydney Croft. Sydney’s first book, Riding The Storm, will be available in September, 2007.
She lives in New York with her husband and her daughter and she loves to hear from readers.

COMING UNDONE is full of wicked temptation and delicious humor. The characters are charming and sexy and the romance really sizzles. I enjoyed the story's various twists and turns and also found it carried a lot of emotion—not just in terms of the sex but also the kind that really pulls you in and keeps your attention engaged... hits home with a punch. The sub-plot added a lot of dimension and depth to the story. It's really poignant and fun at the same time.
Tyler's made me sit up and take a fresh look at the Blaze line again and I hope her next book carries through on a similar note... she's definitely on my 'watch' list!
